S.A. has been giving export services to farmers for trading
meat to diferents parts of the world.
Because of the growth of new markets, a joint-venture with Establecimientos
La Negra S.C.A. was created to provide them with premiun quality
meat directly from producers.
Later other farmers like Garfin Agropecuaria S.A., Zubiaurre
S.A., La senda S.A., Felix Gougy e Hijos, Santa Catalina S.A.,
La Egle S.R.L., Martín Amengual y Hnos gathered to create
NBE Producers Group.
NBE has its own home market distribution, in
two argentine provinces, in order to sell all nono exportable
meat cuts.
The commercial area involves 30 people. There are people liasing
with costs, sales and quality control. Production area involves
more than 200 people.
Establecimientos La Negra is the main producer
of NBE. It was created in 1890, and the 4th generation
from the same family continues dedicating to natural and ecologic
farming activities, producing any kind of krops (soybean, sunflowers,
corn, sorghum, etc) in the corn belt of Buenos Aires. They also
deal with horse breeding forest production in the north east of
Argentina.
The group formed by La Negra in Carmen de Areca, La Caledonia
y Los Mirasoles in Villegas, all in Buenos Aires province breeds
and fattens races of cattle like Limangus, Aberdeen Angus, Limousin
and Charolais.
The method of production, in high quality pastures doesn’t
include feed lots and anabolics. This has given NBE with the help
of Establecimientos La Negra the possibility
to offer meat with a high quality , slaughtered in a high technology
prossecing plant with HACCP, which assures the product homogeneity
(high genetic result) with low colesterol. The new brand -which
really means natural- is based on all these characteristics.
The main ain of NBE is to continue growing togheterwith
all the farmes towards the same direction, thus being suppliers
of the best quality product.
